DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
When we met Danilo and he told us his story, we noticed too many coincidences to not take this opportunity.
The first motorcycle he has ever ridden on a racetrack was a Ducati 916, which is probably the most iconic and recognizable bike in the history of racing motorcycles. The Ducati 916 was born in 1994 and this year it turns 30. It is red, like the passion that moves us in the world of motorbikes and, today, Danilo rides a Ducati Panigale v4, which is the motorbike that took over 916's legacy.
As always Dotto Creations starts from the questions, so what ingredients to use?
1- The highest performance bike ever seen, which last year triumphed in the SBK championship, both in
the drivers' and manufacturers' classifications, and which this year confirms its lead once again.
2- The clean lines of the 90s bikes and the simplicity and coherence of the 916 design.
3- The rider who rode, won and celebrated every Ducati sports bike was our point of reference.
With these ingredients, we mixed and created Dotto Creations Noveunosei.
Massimo Tamburini's thinking led to the clean shapes and iconic lines of the 916, back 30 years ago. We took that approach and put it together with the best-performing motorcycle of 2024. We mixed the personality and spirit of those 90s, with today's mechanics and aerodynamics concepts. Not a retro product, but the union of the simplicity and effectiveness of the past with the best technologies of the present.
